Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. General & Definitions

These terms apply to all sales of goods by Triple A Welds (“The Company”) to any purchaser (“The Customer”). By placing an order, the Customer is deemed to have accepted these terms.

  • “Consumer” refers to an individual acting for purposes outside their trade, business, or profession.
  • “Trade Customer” refers to a business, sole trader, or entity purchasing goods for professional or resale use.

2. Orders & Contract

All orders are subject to acceptance by the Company. A contract is formed only when the Company dispatches the goods or issues a formal order confirmation. The Company reserves the right to reject any order for any reason, including stock unavailability or pricing errors.

3. Pricing & VAT

Prices are displayed in GBP (£) or EUR (€).

  • Retail Customers: Prices displayed include VAT at the applicable rate (Ireland Standard Rate).
  • Trade Accounts: Logged-in trade users view prices exclusive of VAT. VAT will be applied at checkout based on the shipping destination and tax status.

4. Payment & Retention of Title

Title to Goods: Legal and beneficial title to the goods shall not pass to the Customer until the Company has received payment in full (in cash or cleared funds).

Until title passes, the Customer shall hold the goods as the Company’s fiduciary agent and bailee, keeping them separate from other goods and clearly identified as the Company’s property.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Delivery dates are estimates only. Triple A Welds shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from a delay in delivery. Risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to the Customer upon delivery to the address specified in the order.

6. Returns & Cancellations

6.1 Consumer Rights (EU Directive)

Consumers generally have the right to cancel within 14 days of receipt. Goods must be returned unused, in original packaging, and in saleable condition. The Customer bears the direct cost of returning the goods.

6.2 Trade Returns

Trade sales are final. At the Company’s sole discretion, we may accept returns of non-defective stock items subject to a 15% Restocking Fee. Written authorization must be obtained prior to return.

6.3 Custom & Cut Items (Non-Returnable)

Items cut to specification (e.g., Stainless Tube cut to length) or custom-bent fabrication parts made to order are non-cancellable and non-refundable once production has begun, unless proven defective.

7. Liability & Warranty

Our products are intended for professional fabrication use. It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure the goods are suitable for their intended application.

Structural Liability: Triple A Welds accepts no liability for structural failure, injury, or damage resulting from incorrect welding, installation, or misuse of our fabrication components. Liability is strictly limited to the replacement value of the defective part.

8. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.
